    Preparation

    1.

    Boil fresh drinking water and cool to approx. 40°-50° C* / 104-122° F*.

    2.

    Add desired amount of boiled water (see Table) to the bottle.

    3.

    Measure recommended amount of milk powder (see Table). Level the formula powder on the measuring spoon and add the formula powder to the water.

    4.

    Close the bottle and shake thoroughly.

    5.

    Cool to a drinking temperature of approx. 37° C / 98.6° F. Remember to test the temperature before feeding your baby.

    Important Notes

    Breastfeeding is best for your baby. HiPP organic formula is suitable for babies from birth onwards. Please speak with your pediatrician before introducing formula to your baby.

    Every baby is different. The stated drinking amounts and number of bottles per day are only guidelines. Your baby does not have to finish the bottle completely. Unless otherwise advised by your pediatrician: 1 level measuring scoop per 30 ml of water.

    Like breast milk, all baby formulas contain carbohydrates. They are an important part of your baby's diet. Frequent or prolonged contact of the teeth with carbohydrate-containing liquids can lead to tooth decay and, thus, to health problems. Do not let your child suck the bottle permanently, and let them drink out of a cup as soon as possible.

    Please follow the preparation instructions carefully when preparing infant formula. Incorrect preparation and storage can lead to health problems due to the growth of unwanted germs. Prepare fresh formula before each feeding and feed immediately. Do not reuse leftovers. Clean bottle, teat, and ring thoroughly. Do not heat formula in the microwave (risk of scalding).

    Baby needs about 5 meals per day. When introducing new and complete complementary meals, a bottle feeding should be omitted.
